When and where are Tech Talks?
Weekly on Tuesdays at 3:00pm EST

How do I reserve my seat?
Head over to the events page. Pick your Tech Talk and there will be an RSVP option. Select the number of seats you’d like for us to save for you.
How many people can come to a Tech Talk?
In order to provide a comfortable and intimate experience, we limit the number of available seats. In general, there are 15 RSVPs per talk. On the events page you will see a countdown showing the available number of tickets.
Do I need to bring any tickets?
Nope! We want to make it easy. Once you RSVP, we’ll get a notification in our email. We’ll reserve your seat based on the emails.
Are Tech Talks Beginner-Friendly?
Why, yes they are! Each of the Tech Talks will have a Nerd Rating. On the event page, we will list the rating.

E for EVERYONE
B for BEGINNER
I for INTERMEDIATE
A for ADVANCE

What do I bring to Tech Talks?
On the event page for each of the Talks, we will specify Recommended Devices. Generally, we encourage you to bring your favorite tech. Note cards and pens will be provided.

For example, if we go over iCloud Photo Library, we would recommended bringing your iPhones, iPads and Macs.

How long are Tech Talks?
We usually aim for 45 minutes, followed by a brief Q&A to finish out the day.
Does a Tech Talk count as a Request?
No. These are in addition to the awesome service from your Nerds.
What if I want to go into more detail?
Since everyone has busy schedules, we try to cover as much as possible within a 45-60 minute window. If you’re just yearning for knowledge (good for you), we’re happy to meet with you for a One-to-One.
How much does it cost?
All of our Residential and Business members can come to Tech Talks free of charge! Tech Talks are just another way for us to share our passion with you.
Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely! Your friends are our friends. You’re so awesome for sharing us with others. Sharing is caring.

Currently, Tech Talks are reserved to members (and their guests).

Are there snacks?
We will serve light refreshments. Coffee, water, and snacks will be available.
What if I don't know anything about technology?
That’s never a problem here at Neighborhood Nerds. We’re here so that you don’t have deal with the stress and muck that technology can cause. Come to a Tech Talk and we promise you’ll come away learning something cool.
What if I can't come to a Tech Talk?
We’re sorry we missed you, but we are going to record all the talks. They will be available on our YouTube Channel at this link.
Is there a waitlist?
Thanks to a client’s suggestion, we’ve enabled the waitlist feature! If all the reservations are claimed, you can add yourself to the automatic waitlist. If there’s a cancellation you will have one (1) day to claim your RSVP. You’ll be notified via email.
Are Tech Talks available online?
Yes! They will be available on our YouTube Channel at this link.
What if I need to cancel?
We’ll miss you, but we understand things happen. Canceling is simple: just email us at [email protected]. Tell us which Tech Talk RSVP you need to cancel, and we’ll take care of the rest.
