May 12, 2024Neighborhood Nerds offers two membership levels tailored to meet different support needs:
- Standard Membership: Includes unlimited remote support, which encompasses help over the phone, via email, text, and remote desktop sessions. Standard members pay $69 per hour for any in-person support, which covers everything from troubleshooting broken devices to assistance with new projects.
- VIP Membership: Includes all the benefits of Standard Membership plus additional in-person support. VIP members receive unlimited in-person visits for troubleshooting, diagnostics, and planning without any extra charge. However, any hands-on help with new projects or setups, such as installing and configuring new software or hardware (like Quicken, smart lights, or a Sonos system), is billed at $69 per hour.
This structure ensures that both Standard and VIP members can enjoy comprehensive tech support tailored to their needs, with VIP members benefitting from enhanced in-person assistance.

I met Debbie at Greeneville HS; we dated through college, her at Clemson and me at UTK. We married December 28th, 1991 in Greeneville, TN. We have four healthy sons. I do a little bit of this, little bit of that; i'm an electrical engineer by trade (UTK 1991) and my day job is my engineering business (DBR Systems) where I provide automation solutions for manufacturing facilities. I also do some real-estate investing where I try to buy a new property once or twice a year; I run this business as RK Properties, LLC I also have a software company with a buddy in Seattle Bright Software, LLC Oh yeah...Founder of E.O.K. with partners Jay Albright and Chris Austin!
