Do you provide support for repairs?

While Neighborhood Nerds does not operate a repair shop or perform off-site repairs, we offer a unique, hands-on approach to assisting with repairs:

• Concierge-Type Services: We can facilitate the repair process by picking up your device and delivering it to a repair shop (like an Apple Store), and then returning it to you after the repair. This service is billed at our standard hourly rate of $69, plus the cost of the repair itself.
• Guided Repair Sessions: Most often, our members prefer to undertake repairs themselves with guidance from a NERD. For example, if you need to replace a screen, a NERD can provide a bill of materials and then guide you through the repair process in your home or office. This enables you to learn and become more self-sufficient with technology.

Our goal is to empower you by participating and learning during the repair. While NERDS can assist physically if necessary, we emphasize a collaborative approach to ensure you are involved and gain the confidence to handle future tech challenges independently.
